Peter Stewart Superstore is a third generation, locally owned family business. Back in 1928, my grandfather George Tinnin and great uncle Lawrence Blackwood started repairing and selling vehicles in downtown Fayetteville as T&B Super Service. In 1955 my father George Stewart joined the business. George Stewart was a graduate from the US Army Academy at West Point and served in the army for 11 years. George ran the business as Stewart Oldsmobile Inc. until his retirement in 1986.
I, Peter Stewart, grew up working in the many different area of the dealership during the summers and of time. In 1978 after graduation from North Carolina State University I went to work full time for my father. I became president after my father's retirement.
In 1999 "Peter Stewart Superstore" became a separate business from the new car dealership. Totally committed to used car sales and service, our commitment continues to service our customers and community. As past president of our local United Way and current member of the Salvation Army board, the general Hugh Shelton Leadership initiative board, CCBC and Military Affairs committee of CCBC and Honorary Member of the 82nd Airborne Division, I understand giving back.
Stewart Superstore and all its employees are dedicated and proud to serve all customers in the Fayetteville - Fort Bragg - Pope AFB community.
